IS FALLING THE MEXICAN PESO

Mexico City. – The Mexican peso is at its worst level in more than three years, pressured by concerns about the European debt crisis and the result of a survey that showed progress toward the leftist candidate in Mexico’s presidential elections.

The currency traded at 14.3255 pesos per dollar, its lowest level since April 27, 2009, with a drop of 1.11 percent compared to 14.1660 pesos from the reference price of Reuters on Wednesday.
