By: Judith Martínez. Ciudad de México.- Good news for those dedicated to the making of automobiles here, in Guanajuato, it happens that General Motors big  kahunas have spreaded out the voice for 420 million dollar investment in Mexico, and from all that cash, almost half of it is coming to Silao.

Guanajuato GM will receive 200 million dollars that will be used in the making of a new pick up truck model, and 120 million will be for San Luis Potosi for the production of the new Chevrolet Trax that is coming to Mexico at the las quart of the year, the rest will be for the making of transmitions.

It is said that investments will create more than a thousand direct jobs, and some three thousand indirect jobs.

Good news have been announced by GM Mexico president, Ernesto Hernandez Quiroz, along with President of Mexico, Felipe Calderon.
