CITY POLICE IN LEON REPRESSES PROTEST MARCH AND ARRESTS A JOURNALIST

While taking pictures of police forces contending protesters from Duarte whom met at the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) in the main square of Leon, journalist Martin Diego was arrested, even though he identified himself as a reporter.

Rural inhabitants of Duarte demanded their power re connection, that has been unattended for the last two months, eve though they have been paying for the service regularly, as they said, and as they got to the CFE State building they were attacked by the city police.

Martín Diego was taking pictures of the repression when he was arrested by the blue, who cuffed him and mounted him up on a police car caring little for the journalist identification, and being insulted when he complained for the too tight cuffs on him.

This action is just one more that adds up to those we have already informed, such as Javier Lara Muñoz during a soccer fans riot or the one about the #YoSoy132 march in downtown.
