Leon, Guanajuato. – Barbara Botello, candidate of the PRI-PVEM, met with a group of people committed to the ethical treatment of animals.

Attendees were told that sometimes the environment leads man to give the animals to rough treatment, forgetting that in reality human beings and animals are part of the same nature.

In this regard Barbara Botello said the municipal authority must be careful in regulating human treatment given to animals and avoid the negative effects that may result to humans when they are not acting responsibly in relation to property or possession of them.

In addition, the municipal authority should be promoting education of children and the general public for the humane treatment of species.
