MUERE ROBIN GIBB / ROBIN GIBB DIES

Robin Gibb, cantante del legendario grupo pop de los Bee Gees, falleció ayer por complicaciones del cáncer de cólon que padecía desde agosto del 2010, a los 62 años de edad, informaron sus familiares.

Robin junto con sus hermanos Barry, Maurice Gibb alcanzaron la cúspide de la fama en la época de los años 70’s con éxitos mundiales como “How Deep Is Your Love”, “Stayin’ Alive”, y “Night Fever”, además batieron récord de ventas con sus discos al lograr vender más de 380 millones de unidades desde sus primeros éxitos en la década del 60.

Robbin era junto con su hermano Barry la voz de los Bee Gees y reconocido por éxitos como “Stayin’ Alive” y “Night Fever”, apenas había salido el pasado 21 de abril de un coma en el que estuvo por más de una semana, según anunció en su momento Doug Wright, su portavoz.
