ZANARDI, THE FASTEST RUNNER, EVEN ON A WHEEL CHAIR

Italian pilot, Alex Zanardi, who lost his legs on a horrible accident back in September 2001 in a Formula One competition race in Germany, four days after the September 11th incident, decided to get up and got the gold medal at the bicycle race in the London Paralimpics 2012.

45 year old Zanardi gave a lot to talk about when he started to drive with the aid of prosthetics, but this golden medal is the closest to his glory haydays when he was one of the best world’s car racers.
