Leon, Gto.- City major, Ricardo Sheffield Padilla visited the parking lot to a commercial center to promote respect to the handicap parking blue boxes and motivate drivers to recognize the distinctive logo used for those spaces.

“Government through the Family Integration Institute (DIF) and the Municipal Comision for the Social Integration of the Handycaped have presented the reform proposal for the Municipal Street Circulation Code to harden actions against those who would not respect handicaped spaces in parking lots”, the major pointed out.

He has also explained that the procedures for the identification of the handicaped has also been modified in Leon, so formerly it had to be done at the State DIF and now it will be done at any DIF office in the city.
