PAN head director, Gerardo Trujillo Flores, said that despite the fact that Leon has been taken by PRI and PVEM, PAN still rules Guanajuato in reality, if it were in the hands of the people of Guanajuato Chepina would have gotten the president chair.

Trujillo states that the loss of municiples was because “society have thought about it and decided to punish PAN”, so this party will have to work hard for the next three years to earn the trust of the people once again.
